OBITUARY Violet M. Richmer June 12, 1924 – December 5, 2018 Violet M. Richmer, 94 years of age, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in New Albany, Indiana. She was born June 2, 1924 in New Albany to the late George and Nellie Blackman and was retired from Bruce Fox Co. Violet was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the VFW Post #1693 Ladies Auxiliary both in New Albany. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Richmer, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Survivors include her nieces, Debra Bishop (Terry), and Diana Spears (Steve), nephew, David Pfohl (Rebecca) as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Chapel with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
