Velma L. Mansfield, 80 of Portersville passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot. Born October 12, 1938 in Butler , PA, she was the daughter of the late George W. Fowler and Eva Wise Fowler. Velma was a member of the Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Connoquenessing Lions Club.

She enjoyed painting and playing cards. Surviving are her son, Donald (Polly) Mansfield, daughters, Robin Fry and Lori Mansfield, granddaughter, Rachael Mansfield, grandson, Zachary Fry, and sister, Betty (Calvin) Bowser. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, George Fowler and Raymond Fowler, grandson, Donald Glenn Mansfield.

Jr., husband, Donald C. Mansfield, and son in law, Marc Fry. Friends will be received on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg. Services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church with Rev.

Jim Steiner officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Private interment will follow in Brownsdale Cemetery.
