Velma May Roath,91 Velma May Roath, 91, of the Kingston, Idaho, passed away January 14, 2019 at the family home of Kingston, Idaho. She was born October 4, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois; Velma was the daughter of Henry and Goldie Carr. Velma moved from Chicago to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in the early 1950’s.

She was united in marriage to Lester Roath in 1952. Together they raised six boys. Velma worked for the Forest Service as a tree separator for many years before retiring.

In her free time Velma loved to cook and work in her garden. She most loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Velma is survived by her son’s Mike (Dawn) Waudby, Danny (Jill) Waudby, Keith (Sherry) Waudby, Lloyd Roath, Bruce (Jill) Roath and Ronnie (Cindy) Roath.

She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Velma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester, granddaughter Michelle and daughter-in-law Penny. Per Velma’s request no services will be held.
