Patsy Glenda Morrison, 66 Patsy Glenda Morrison, 66, a former Silver Valley resident, passed away on Wed, Feb 6, 2019 at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. Patsy was born on March 12, 1952 in Havre, Montana to Emery and Ruth (Zoerb) Adams. She moved to Pinehurst when she was in second grade, and there she met her lifelong friends Joy (Lasilla) Byrd and Candy (Clements) Birchmier.

Patsy graduated from Kellogg High School in 1970. Patsy married her high school sweetheart Willis “Jay” Morrison (1951-2004) on December 27, 1969. Together they raised three daughters, Jeni, Heather, and Sarah.

Patsy was a teacher for Children’s Church at the Silver Valley Baptist Church. She loved teaching kids about the Lord. When her family was young, Patsy loved doing crafts with her best girlfriends Candy and Joy.

She was a good seamstress, but a fabulous crocheter. There wasn’t much she couldn’t stitch together. In her later years, she crocheted baby blankets and donated them to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

In October 2006, Patsy met and fell in love with Daniel Libby. Her family grew to include a daughter, April (Simon) Bias Fourstar, and three granddaughters, Hailey, Emma, and Genevieve Bias. She and Daniel made their home in Newport, WA.

There they raised a very big, spoiled cat named Doc, and a sweet and sassy dog, Trixie, who loved laying in her lap, especially when Patsy didn’t feel well. Patsy loved her fur babies, her daughters, but most of all her grandchildren Calvin (Maranda) Miller, Jared Pierce, Alexis Miller, and Rachael Compton. However, the one thing that made her light up most of all was her new great-granddaughter Emery Faye Swan.

Patsy is survived by Daniel Libby, her daughters Jeni (Zak) Pierce, Heather (Rob) Claussen, her sister Joan (Bob) Shaffer, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay and daughter Sarah. A celebration of life is planned for July 6, 2019 with details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, in her honor @ VanessaBehan.org or call (509) 535-3155 for more information.
