Verlene Lemmon passed away on July 4, 2018 at her home after a long courageous battle against cancer. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho on June 28, 1948 to Verlon and Norma Lemmon. Verlene loved nature and spent many adventures camping with family and friends.

She often said “Campfire smoke was her favorite perfume”. Verlene was a very talented artist. She was always carrying a sketch pad with her.

Verlene’s artwork will be on display at a “Celebration of Life”, which will be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 309 North Garfield Ave, Pocatello, Idaho on Tuesday evening, August 7, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You are invited to share your memories of this beautiful lady at this celebration. Verlene was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Annette Lusk.

Verlene is survived by her brothers Lawrence Lemmon, Lee Lemmon and Don Lemmon, her daughter Alissa Abbott, son-in-law Robert Standridge and grandchildren Aidinn and Eedie. Verlene’s family would like to thank “Robin” and all the caregivers, as well as Verlene’s dedicated friends that stayed at her side through her illness. A Go Fund Me account has been set up for Verlene.
