Vernon Lewis Miller May 08, 1927 – February 03, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Vernon Lewis Miller, 91, of Sublime, passed away Feb. 3, 2019. He was born on May 8, 1927, to John H. & Selma Meyer Miller in Sugarland.

He married Earlene Byrn on May 17, 1951, at Sublime Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of WWII, and member of Zion Lutheran Church of Schulenburg. Vernon is survived by: his wife Earlene; son Mark Miller & wife Lisa of Weimar; daughter Donna Brock & husband Tommy of Kerrville; 4 grandchildren, Mark Miller Jr., Misti Miller, Kayla Brock and Clay Brock; and 1 great grandchild Brandon Miller.

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service: 11 am, Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at Kubena Funeral Home.

Visitation will start at 5 pm, Wednesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiant: Pastor Al Gallmeier. Memorials: Zion Lutheran Church of Schulenburg, Hospice Brazos Valley, or donor’s choice.

Burial: Geiger Cemetery in Sublime.
