OBITUARY Vincent Paciera December 2, 1921 – January 14, 2019 Vincent Paciera passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019, at the age of 97. He was a graduate of Jesuit High School and Tulane University Law School and was a navy officer in WWII. He was a member of the Metairie Rotary Club.

Vincent was the cherished husband of Shirley Paciera for 66 years. Loving father of Vincent Paciera, Jr (Adrienne) and Kirth Paciera (Donna). Son of the late Anthony and Josephine Schillesci Paciera.

Brother of the late Lena Romaguera. He was the proud grandfather of Vincent Paciera III, Danielle Paciera, Kirth Paciera, Jr. (Mariel), Elise MacMaster (Robert). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren Camryn, Paige, Brooklyn MacMaster and Nolan Paciera.

He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina and a resident of Christwood Retirement Center in Covington for the last years. He was a parishioner of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Special thanks to his caregiver, Diana Parker.

Relatives and family are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Funeral home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. , New Orleans, on Thursday, January 17th, starting at 12:30 followed by a Catholic funeral mass at 2 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the National World War II Museum of New Orleans.
