Viola Siemers, 90, of Bemidji, MN died Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Goldpine Home, Bemidji. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji with Pastor Kent Dudley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Bemidji. Viola Josephine Ruh was born March 16, 1928 in Monroe, Michigan to Anthony & Mary Stifter Ruh. She grew up in Browerville, MN and then Bemidji.

She married Dick Siemers on December 19, 1947 in Bemidji, MN. Vi truly loved being with her family and her pets Buffy and Toby. She also enjoyed her coffee visits, playing cards, crafting and growing flowers.

Viola is survived by her sons Dale (Teresa) and Rick (Connie) Siemers all of Bemidji; grandson, Shawn (Michelle) Siemers, Bemidji; brother, Marvin Ruh, Bemidji. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Dick Siemers; and brothers, Arnold & Lloyd Ruh. Online guestbook at www.
