OBITUARY Virgil Edward Rickstrew June 21, 1916 – September 9, 2018 Virgil Edward Rickstrew was born in Fowler, Colorado June 21, 1916, to Chester and Ada Rickstrew. Virgil passed in his sleep on September 9, 2018 at the young age of 102. He is survived by his daughter Beverly (Chuck) Richardson, son Dale (Rita) Rickstrew, daughter Kellie (Tim) Colby, step-son Jim (Jeena) Brown, and step-son Dave (Cheryl) Brown.

He is also survived by beautiful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many loved nephews and nieces. Virgil moved to De Beque at the age of 7 and lived 95 years in De Beque. Virgil was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 15th, at 1 pm at the De Beque Church on Minter Avenue in De Beque, Colorado. Also graveside services immediately following at the De Beque Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have donations directed to an organization in De Beque, of your choice.
