Obituary for Virgil Leroy Bennett Virgil Leroy Bennett, 81, died peacefully in his Loveland, Colorado home surrounded by his wife, Jan, and his loving family on June 16, 2018. Virgil was born on October 6, 1936 in Julesburg, Colorado. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1953 and served in Korea; rising to rank of Sergeant.

After completing his military service, Virgil returned to Colorado and worked as a manager at Hewlett-Packard for over 35 years. Virgil enjoyed sailing, woodworking and racing cars and motorcycles. His greatest love was his family, which included numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for 10am on June 20, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Fort Collins, with a reception to follow. Tina Wagner will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Virgil’s life.
