Virgil M. Slaughter Jr., 87 of Zoneton, KY passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 in Leesburg, FL with his wife by his side. He was a Baptist by faith, a Veteran with the United States Marine Corps. And a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 110.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil M. Slaughter Sr. and Margaret Reel Slaughter, a son Richard L. Slaughter and daughter in law Sherry Slaughter. Virgil is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years Frankie L. Slaughter; his children Linda J. Fogle (Shirley Terry) of Elizabethtown, Robert E. Slaughter of Zoneton, Raymond K. Slaughter (Debbie) of Zoneton and Lisa Hester (Neil) of Shepherdsville; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery.
