Obituary for Virginia A. Wilson Virginia A. Wilson, 97, of Mayfield, Kentucky, formerly of Metropolis, Illinois and Atoka, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 at Green Acres Rehabilitation Center in Mayfield. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct.

7 at the Masonic Cemetery in Belknap, Illinois with Bro. Jack Russell officiating. Born Dec.

11, 1920 to Owen and Ruby Kean of Karnak, Illinois, Mrs. Wilson was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Mayfield, where she song in the choir. In addition, Mrs. Wilson volunteered her time in several organizations in the Mayfield community and was a member of the Jackson Purchase Medical Center auxiliary, where she served as a “pink lady”. Survivors include one son, Lanny Little and wife Kay of Bellingham, Washington; two daughters, Alisa Pearson and husband Kevin of Mayfield and Amy Travis and husband Barry of Madisonville, Kentucky; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Marion B. Little; her second husband, Walton B. Wilson; one grandson, Stephen Hamilton; and three brothers, Kenneth, Charles and Owen Jr. Kean. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Virginia A. Wilson please visit our Sympathy Store.
