Ginny loved people. She also loved animals of all kinds, but especially dogs and horses. Ginny would try anything.
If someone else could do it, she could surely try. Her mother would say she wasn’t afraid of the devil himself, to which she would reply, “Why be afraid with God on my side? ” After Ginny graduated nursing school in 1945, she worked as a registered nurse for 47 years and said she enjoyed helping God’s people when they needed it.
Many stories can be told of Ginny, some happy and some sad. She tried to smile in times that she could have done otherwise. She believed it was God’s plan for all to be happy and at peace with one another.
Ginny was a lifetime member of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association, she was a master gardener and was a former member of Alpha Beta Iota. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for over 20 years. She truly enjoyed her time in the choir and the fellowship that came with it.
