Obituary for Virginia S. Schoch Virginia S. Schoch December 10, 1927 – May 21, 2018 Virginia (Sumption) Schoch of Radnor and Ocean City, NJ and more recently from Shannondell, Audubon, PA, died on May 21, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Le Roy D. Schoch, her high school sweetheart, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage. She was a homemaker who always put her love for her family first.

Her second love was caring for others – – as she did for years. Ginny received the Legion of Honor award from the Chapel of the Four Chaplains for outstanding service to others. She was an active member of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and held various offices over the years.

She also was a prior member of the Valley Forge Branch Auxiliary of Paoli Memorial Hospital. Ginny’s life was involved in Wayne Presbyterian Church as a Deacon and active member of Stephen Ministries – – also a long-time member of St. David’s Golf Club. Virginia is survived by two sons: David (Carol) of MI; Darryl (Christine) of PA and daughter, Diane (William) Michaud of NC.

She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas (1978) and husband, Le Roy (2016). Her life was enriched with 8 wonderful grandchildren: Heather (Scott) Robidoux of MD; Christen (Simon) Bradbury of Valencia, Spain; Laura (Louis) Caligiuri of MA; Dara of PA and Douglas, Eric, Peter and Cailley Michaud of NC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her life celebration at Wayne Presbyterian Church, Saturday, August 18th at 1:00 pm.
