Virginia Sue Waters, 84 of Yorktown, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2019. She was born August 5, 1934 in Bell Farm, KY and was the daughter of the late Lewis & Gertie (Davis) Hill. Virginia was a long-term member of the Westside United Baptist Church.

She loved to care for and spend time with her family. Virginia enjoyed crocheting, shopping and doing word search puzzles. Virginia is survived by her six children, Phillip Junior Waters (Janie) of Muncie, Timothy Wayne Waters (Melanie) of Yorktown, Steven Lewis Waters (Traci) of Frankfort, KY, Delores Ann Wagers of London, KY, Paula Elaine Shannon of Somerset, KY and Crystal Dawn Hobbick (William) of Harrodsburg, KY; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; a sister Glenna Carol Clark (Dillard) of McCreary County, KY; two brothers Roger Gale Hill of Anderson and Louie Randall Hill (Gay) of Wimauma, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Phillip Jackson Waters on March 19, 2010; a sister Joyce Marie Hill; three brothers William Harold Hill, James Stanley Hill and Bobby Lyle Hill. Funeral Services will be held privately for the family. Arrangements have been placed into the care of Garden View Funeral Home.
