Vivian D. Sande, 82, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 with family at her side, at St. Luke’s Hospice, after a battle with lung cancer Vivian grew up in Larsmont where she met and married her childhood sweetheart, Lloyd. She was a devoted mother and wife who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Spending quality time with friends and family brought her much joy.

She always had a kind word and a smile for those she met. She had a varied work career working at Litton Industries in Duluth as a young woman, pumping gas at The Two Harbors Shell Station, as a Ward Clerk at Lakeview Memorial Hospital, addressing cards at Irresistible Ink, and as a Lake County Voting Judge. Vivian truly enjoyed her time as Past President of the Women of the Moose in Two Harbors.

She was a great bowler as a Bowling League member in Two Harbors and an avid sports fan. She loved watching golf, hockey, football and taking an annual bus trip to a Twins game. Preceded in death Erik Carlson (father); Evelyn Riedler (mother); Evelyn (sister) Survived by her husband Lloyd; daughters Jolene (Douglas) Denzler; Roberta (James) Rippberger; Kendra (Louie) Larson; sons Romney Sande; Raymond Sande Brother Jimmy Carlson, Sister Carol Swift; 7 Grandchildren Alec, Megan, Aaron, Gavin, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Spencer 2 Great Grandchildren Payton and Wyatt.

Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors.
