Obituary for Vivian D. Walker Vivian Diane Walker, was born August 30, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN, to Curtis Wimberly and Gloveree Miller-Webster. She united in Holy Matrimony to Leroy Riley Walker Jr., in 1976, they shared forty-three years of marriage. From this union one son and two daughters were born.

Vivian (affectionately called “Beedie” by her family and friends) received her early education training in Rockisland, IL and East Saint Louis, MO. She later received an LPN degree in Cleveland, OH and worked as a (home health aide) LPN throughout the suburban Cleveland, areas. Later, she was employed at Lincoln Electric until her retirement in 2008.

She accepted Christ as a young adult and resided in Cleveland, OH. She is a former member of Saint Paul’s & Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Where she served meals and prepared food bags for the needy and homeless.

Her faith in Christ has gotten her through many of tough times. Her pray life was that of a “prayer warrior’, as she instilled prayer and trusting in the Word of God into her children and grandchildren. Her love can be felt by everyone who crossed her path.

She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother, always putting everyone’s needs before her own. And taking special care of her husband, children and family, supporting them in every endeavor. On Friday, June 29, 2018, at her home which she shared with Husband Leroy Riley Walker Jr., in Cleveland, OH.

Vivian made the transition from life to everlasting life. She leaves to celebrate her love, husband Leroy Riley Walker Jr., and her children, LA’ Renzo (Janice) Wimberly, Sheila (Antonio) Brown, Kara Walker; Siblings, Aaron Brooks, Virginia Williams, Joyce Mitchell, and Adrienne Gathright; six grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Kirk Wimberly and Gloveree Miller-Brooks, siblings, Ella Mae Moore, Robert Sykes and Lewis Sykes Jr., Edward.

Visitation will take place Friday, July 6, 2018 from 1PM-2PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd. , North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence at 2PM. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Vivian D. Walker please visit our Sympathy Store.
