Vivian Jean Somerville June 23, 1952 – March 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Vivian Jean Somerville (Lanzoni), 66, loving wife of John Somerville, passed away on March 18, 2019 surrounded by family. Vivian was born June 23, 1952 in Meriden, CT, a daughter to Ford and Virginia (Nash) Lanzoni. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University where she met the love of her life, John.

Over the years she worked in sales and various teaching roles. She took great pleasure in her favorite role as “family coordinator” to her husband and children. Her passion was spending time with family and friends.

Every birthday, holiday, trip, event or get together was celebrated and perfectly planned with love. Vivian was a beloved wife, amazing mother, grandmother and friend. Her smile, kindness, and generosity touched so many and will never be forgotten.

In addition to her husband John, Vivian is survived by her father, Ford Lanzoni; children John Somerville III (Hildy), Megan Fredrick (Jason) and Laura Strehl (Robert); her grandchildren, Zachary & Ellie Fredrick, Nicole Somerville and Vivian Strehl; her siblings James Lanzoni, Michael Lanzoni, Thomas Lanzoni, and Diane Nadeau. She is predeceased by her mother Virginia Lanzoni and brother, Ford Lanzoni. The Viewing will be held on Friday, March 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave.

, Ardmore, PA with additional viewing on Saturday at 10:30 at the church prior to the service. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, March 23 at 11:30 am at St. Thomas of Villanova Church (Univ. Campus), Lancaster Ave.

, Villanova, PA. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, 233 S. 10th St., Philadelphia PA 19107 or to No Kid Hungry , P.O. Box 75475, Baltimore, MD 21275-5475.
