Vivien Corley February 18, 1918 – January 22, 2019 Vivien Corley, 100, of Raleigh, MS died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Magee General Hospital, Magee, MS. Visitation will be held January 25, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Raleigh, MS, with Funeral Services to follow in the chapel at 11:00 A.M. Dr. Steve McDonald will officiate.

Burial will be in North Raleigh Cemetery. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Samuel Corley, Jr. and her son, William Samuel Corley, III, of Raleigh; parents, George Henry Thompson and Mary Magdaline Beaver Thompson of Taylorsville, MS; sisters, Essie Pearcey and Hazel Bryant; and brothers, James Fuller Thompson and George Kerney Thompson. Survivors include her son, George Carroll Corley (Jenny) of Madison; daughter-in-law, Sandra Martin Corley of Raleigh; grandchildren, Camala Corley Wyatt of Brandon and William Scott Corley (Heather) of Raleigh; great grandchildren, Tripp Wyatt, Corley Wyatt, Will Wyatt, Lucas Glenn, and London Corley.

Vivien was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Raleigh. She was a founding member of Raleigh Woman’s Club and served as a member for 79 years. She was a bank teller at Bank of Raleigh for over 20 years.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Thompson, Donald Boykin, Josh Fountain, Eric McDonald, Marty Puckett and Phil Puckett.
