Obituary for Wade M. Higginbotham Wade M. Higginbotham, 65, of Valley Head, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018. He was born December 4, 1952 to the late L.M. and Nora Oliver Higginbotham. Wade was employed with Fort Payne Housing Authority in maintenance.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Haney and Judge Ronnie Osborn officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Head Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Susan Cox Higginbotham; children, Breon Plunkett and husband, Jason; Michael Stack and wife, Brittany, and Stephen Stack; brothers, Daryl Higginbotham and Kenneth Higginbotham; sisters, Caroline Frazier and Donna Gladden; grandchildren, Katie, Karlie, and Kinley Plunkett.
