Obituary for Wade M. White, Jr. Wade M. White, Jr., age 76 of Millville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. He had been in declining health for the last year. Born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina to the late Mr. and Mrs. Wade White, Sr., Wade graduated from Hickory High School.
Wade worked for T-Fal in North Carolina as a forklift driver for many years, but when T-Fal opened their new Millville facility, Wade relocated to Millville, and that’s when he met his loving wife, Myrna. Together they shared over 14 years of marriage together. Wade retired from T-Fal in 2013.
Gardening, cutting the grass, keeping a beautiful garden, and growing vegetables were but a few of Wade’s favorite pastimes. He especially enjoyed fishing and crabbing in Dividing Creek and Port Norris and spending time with his family. Wade will be sadly missed by his wife Myrna (Dancel) White; one daughter Tanya Landsfeld and husband Michael of Mesa, AZ; one son Wade M. White III of Connecticut; three step-daughters, Janice Abalos and husband Perfecto of Palm Springs, CA, Jessa June Reyes and companion Joan of the Philippines, Jhoana Reyes Budanio and husband Eric of the Philippines; one step-son Dennis Reyes and companion Jemma Fernandez of the Philippines; two brothers, Larry White of N.C. and Danny White of N.C.; one sister Diane Dele of N.C.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday morning between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
