Obituary for Walter Butler Johnson Mr. Walter Butler Johnson, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Funeral services will be announced at a later date. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, Sara and Dink Johnson.

He retired as a Colonel from the US Army after serving in Korea and in the Georgia National Guard. Mr. Johnson lived at Lake Sinclair since 1997 and was a member of Northridge Christian Church. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Vaunena Atkins Johnson of Milledgeville; a brother, F.J. Johnson of Myrtle Beach, SC; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
