Obituary for Walter J. Ulica Walter J. Ulica, 85, of 278 Topsail Drive, Waterloo, widow of Kay Kirk Ashby Ulica, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Hospice House, Greenwood. Born in Farrell, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Margaret Harenchar Ulica. He received his English degree from Clarion State and was employed by the Federal Government.

He was a US Army veteran, was an avid youth sports coach in Alexandria, VA and attended St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Farrell, PA. Surviving are his children, John Ulica of Springfield, VA, Karen Ulica and Dolly Ulica, both of Waterloo, SC and Michael Ulica (Sarah) of Poolesville, MD; sisters, Sister Jeanne Marie Ulica, O.S.F. of Pittsburgh, PA and Jeanne L. Ulica of Farrell, PA; grandchildren, Ryan Ulica and Joseph Ulica, both of Austin, TX and Leigh of Washington, DC. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
