He was a United States Army veteran, who proudly served his country for twenty-two years of active duty. He also was a true man of God who loved the Lord.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM at United Pentecostals of Spring Lake, 1608 Lillington Highway, Spring Lake, NC 28390. A wake will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home in Spring Lake. Surviving is his wife, Mary D. Moore; daughter, Charisse L. Trim; eight sisters, Ida, Emma, Dolly Ann, Elaine, Hazel, Yvonne, Lorraine and Evelyn; two brothers, Ronnie and Hazel; two brothers-in-law, Joseph and Jerome; grandsons, Terrence and Brant; granddaughter, Dymin; three great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Aubree and Malena; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
