Walter S. Harris, 71, a lifelong resident of Elizabeth, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Rehab at River’s Edge, Bridgewater. He was an Army Veteran serving in Alaska. Mr. Harris was a retired electrician for Alcan Co. in Union.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Predeceased by his beloved wife Esther (Travisano) Harris, he is survived by his loving sister Elaine Harris Guhl and her husband Raymond of Bridgewater, nephew Richard R. Guhl and his wife Rita, niece Sandra L. Smith and her husband Mark, and four great nieces and nephews. Visiting Thursday, 4:00-8:00 pm.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, October 12, 2018, 10:00 am from Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. George Avenue, Linden, NJ (908)352-9190. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
