Obituary for Wanda Estelle Curfman Wanda Estelle Curfman, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and John Sherbon, surrounded by her family. Wanda was born September 18, 1935, in Keokuk, Iowa. She graduated from Keokuk Senior High School in 1953.

Wanda married Paul William Curfman of Keokuk on November 27, 1954, in St. Patrick, Missouri. Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family, taking walks with her dog, Meah and music. Wanda is survived by her loving ex-husband and best friend, Paul and her four children; Diana (Joe) North of Cedar Rapids, Dave (Christine) Curfman of Cedar Rapids, Ron (Kathy) Curfman of Robins and Becky (John) Sherbon of Cedar Rapids; ten grandchildren, Joseph and Katherine North, Laney Curfman and Miranda Ellis, Amber, Cole and Carleigh Curfman, Allie, Kelsie and Seth Sherbon; and two great-grandchildren Ethan and Farrah.

She is also survived by a brother, Oren (Lila) Dockum of Keokuk and sister, Shirley (Wayne) Jobe of California. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Leland Edward Dockum, Sr. (1983) and Alice Letitia Hasper (1993) and her brother, Leland Edward (Eddie) Dockum, Jr. (1951) Wanda’s family is grateful to Mercy Hospice team for their compassion, support and assistance during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice.
