Obituary for Wanda Lee Probst Wanda Lee Probst finished her earthly journey on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018. She now resides in her eternal home with her Lord and Savior.

Although we have a heavy heart, we will also rejoice with the blessed assurance of her joyous reunion in Heaven. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park.

Visitation: 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday prior to service. Reception: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. immediately following burial located in the Live Oak Room at Greenwood. Officiating will be Rev.

Bill Pursley, Jr., her son-in-law, and Rev. Jeffrey Phillips, her grandson. Honorary Pallbearers, Truman Cockerham and Rodney Brown.

Pallbearers, her nephew’s, Michael Taylor, Jim Taylor, Sean McKinney and Alan McKinney. Wanda was born on April 5, 1930 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. to Jesse and Alice Kesterson.

She was raised in a Christian home with three brothers and one sister. Wanda met the love of her life, Dallas Probst, and was married for 53 years, until his death in 2002. Together, they were a strong Christian influence for their two daughters, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Wanda retired from Neiman Marcus after 18 years of service. She was an avid antique collector, antique restorer, and enjoyed decorating her home and rug hooking. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dallas Probst; her brother, Wilbur Kesterson; sister, Wilma Jean McKinney; brother, Paul Kesterson; her grandson, Matthew Sean; and her great- granddaughter, Grace.

She is survived by two daughters, Theresa and husband, Truman Cockerham of Fort Worth and Loyce and her husband, Bill Pursley, Jr. of Wichita Falls; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Phillips and his wife, Sara, of Las Vegas, Nev. and Cassie Kyle of Brandon, Florida; four great-grandchildren, Emma and Ty Phillips and Hailee and Addison Kyle; her brother, Harold Kesterson; and many nieces and nephew’s. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the love and care given to Wanda at Promise Healthcare and Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas.
