Stout, Warren F., of Chesterfield, VA passed away in his home into the arms of God, surrounded by his devoted family on July 30, 2018. He was born on April 22, 1929 in Bluefield, WV. He was predeceased by his parents, Ettie Hart Stout and Hascue Stout; brothers, Deral, Ralph and John; sister, Wilma Stout Galbraith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carol E. Stout; children, David (Margie) of Deltaville, Dirk (Susan) of Midlothian, Diane Stout-Brown (Bruce) of Chesterfield, and Mark (Janet) of Chester; grandchildren, Melissa Stout (Eric), David Stout, Jr. (Amie), Mindy Stout, Logan Stout (Alyssa), Taylor Stout, Dirk Stout, Jr., Robert Stout, Holly Brown (Alex Cuoghi), Zachary Brown (Fran), Mark L. Stout, Jr., Justin Stout, Brandon Stout, and Melissa Keaton (Bernard); great-grandson, Ryder Stout; sisters Doris Hall, Phyllis Herrick, Charlotte Stout, Wanda Powell; and many devoted relatives and friends. Warren served for 10 years in the U.S. Air Force before settling in the Richmond area. He retired from Allied Signal Corporation after a 32-year career.
He loved his family, his pets, gardening, auto mechanics, fishing, the beach and working in his garage. He taught his family the value of hard work, dedication, humility, and the importance of taking care of one another. His graciousness and sense of humor made him nothing sort of amazing.
Warren lived a rich and rewarding life and has left a permanent mark on our world. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 2 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd (Rt 10), N. Chesterfield, VA 23234, with a celebration o f Warren’s life at Morrissett on Friday, August 3, at 1 p.m. with interment following at Dale Memorial Park In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Branch’s Baptist Church, 3400 Broad Rock Blvd. , Richmond, VA 23234.
