Warren K. Holmes, Jr. Charlotte – Warren Kinder Holmes, Jr., 63 of Charlotte, North Carolina, transitioned from this earthly life on February 15, 2019 at Atrium Health Charlotte surrounded in love by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents Warren Kinder Holmes Sr., Helen Wright, and sister Patricia Bryant. He is survived by his loving wife Vena Holmes; children Terrence Wilson of Charlotte, NC, Ronald Thomas, Jr. of Tampa FL, Godson Carey Reid (Sandy) of Pageland, SC, Camisha Miller of Wilmington, NC, and Demetria Simpson of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Eddie Holmes (Barbara) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Kenneth Holmes (Ola) of Martinsville VA; 5 grandchildren, Marlon Miller, Demani Clark, Ethan Armstrong, Amorie Thomas, Ronald Thomas, and 1 great grand Aaliyah Miller.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at The Connecting Place at Greater Salem Church, 5318 Salem Church Rd, Charlotte, NC. Visitation is from 12 noon to 1 pm. Funeral Service starting at 1 pm.

The interment will follow in Beatties Ford Memorial Garden. Wayne Russell Funereal Service is serving the Holmes family.
