OBITUARY Wayne Arthur Russey, Jr. December 12, 1944 – January 27, 2019 Mr. Wayne Arthur Russey, Jr., age 74 of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away January 27, 2019. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Wayne Arthur Russey, Sr. and Camille Brown Russey. Wayne faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era.

He was a truck driver for 50 years and used the CB handle “Porky Pig”. He attended Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed listening to music, attending and eating at family functions and eating and having coffee at the Waffle House. Survivors include his children, Jeff (Sherrie) Russey of Jackson, Camille (Bill) Keesler of Jonesboro, Roland Russey of Stockbridge and Lisa Russey of Glendale, CA; grandchildren, Jessica Russey, Kaylee Keelser, Paul Keesler, Aubrey Russey and Ava Russey.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019 – 2:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family Saturday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
