Wayne’s wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Wayne was born February 23, 1937 in Abilene, TX to the late Bernard Wilburn and Lois Beatrice (Matthews) Jones. He married Nikki Lou Casner on August 1, 1988 in Alice, TX. He was a member of the St. Stephens Episcopal Church.

Surviving Wayne is son Jerry Wayne Jones of Waco, TX; daughters Teresa Harris of Trinidad, TX. , Vicki Johnson of Malakoff, TX; sister Joanna Scherwitz of Sweetwater; brothers Earl Jones of Nolan, Dearl Jones of Nolan. He was preceded in death by his wife Nikki Jones in 2018 and his parents.
