Wayne Lee Thompson, 83, of Tecumseh, passed away March 27, 2019 at his home in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He was born to Horace and Elsie (McDaniel) Thompson on February 28, 1936 on the family farm near Cook, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Pastor Howard Blecha officiating.

Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1-8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 3-4 p.m. Memorials may go to the Spring Creek Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska. Interment will be in the Spring Creek Cemetery, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska with military rites by the Nebraska National Guard Funeral Honors Team and the Tecumseh VFW and American Legion.
