A graveside service for Wayne Spears, age 76, of Tyler, is scheduled at 11 o’clock in the morning Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mr. Spears passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 in Tyler.

Wayne was born December 1, 1942 in Houston to Coy and Hazel (Lindsey) Spears. Mr. Spears was a Title Officer in the Commercial Title business. He finished his career as a petroleum land man.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 25 years, Debbie Spears of Tyler; two daughters, Beth Newton and husband Will of Austin and Jennifer Lang of Magnolia. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Emma Ellis, Madelyn Ellis, and Erin Lang.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Wayne’s family from 5 to 7 o’clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Rather than customary condolences, memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas 4111 University Blvd. , Tyler, Texas 75701 and American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
