Weldon R. “Woody” Wood Sr. Born: May 24th, 1937 Died: October 13. 2018 Born and raised in Sheridan, Oregon “Woody” graduated high school in 1955 and joined the United States Army in 1956. In 1960, he married Marlene Yvonne Gilman (deceased) from Oregon City, and raised two surviving children, Wendee Renee (Bowen) and W. Ross Wood Jr. Later in life, Woody married Hilda (Lang) Wood, and enjoyed two step children, Heidi Lang (deceased) and Gordy Lang.

Woody was a past Master “1973” and life member of the Milwaukie Masonic Lodge. He also, belonged to the Oregon City Elks Lodge, where he enjoyed delivering food baskets to the needy during the holiday season annually. His life’s passions included pheasant and duck hunting, lake and ocean fishing, playing golf, coaching baseball, and making others laugh and smile with a good joke or two.

Woody was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Always Loved, Never Forgotten.
