Obituary for Wendell Phillip Blair I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done. Wendell Phillip Blair, 87, of Lutz, Florida, passed away on May 23, 2018. Wendell was born on July 22, 1930 in Warren Ohio to Wendell and Evangeline Blair.

Wendell followed in his dad’s footsteps and joined the Navy. Wendell had many passions in his life including drawing and painting and working as a lecturer and in the research department of Tampa General. Wendell leaves behind a loving family.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens 11005 N. US Hwy 301 Thonotosassa FL 33592 at 11am on Wednesday May 30, 2018.
