Wilbert’s Obituary Wilbert Flowers passed away peacefully on February 4, 2019 at the age of 88. He is the beloved son of the late Ripley Flowers and Lucy Brickley. Survived by siblings, Lucille Allen and Joseph Flowers, ex-wife Zevenaar Bouise Flowers.

Father of Wilbert Jr., Kevin Flowers, and Zevenaar Davis. Grandfather of Deirdre M. Adams, Conan and Brandon (Ashley) Flowers, Ashley Wilson, Marquita, Zavier and Kellen Davis. Great grandfather of Darrell Doucette III, Vernita Bartholomew, Demeira, Cyril and Cordaye Davis and two great great grandsons.

Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by sisters Rosemary Bovia and Leona Townsend; daughters Ardythe Flowers and Johnda Wilson, and son-in-law Gregory Davis. Family and friends from United States Postal Service, LSU Neuroscience Center, Cummings Temple AME, Serenity Hospice, COBALT Rehab and Wynhaven Facility are invited to attend his Homegoing Service on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at St. Raymond and St. Leo the Great Church, 2916 Paris Avenue New Orleans, LA 70119.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Fr. Anthony M. Bozeman, S.S.J. officiating. Interment is private.
