Thomas “Tommy” Karney passed away peacefully on February 5, 2019 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Cynthia Audino Karney. Father of Jason Karney, the late Heather Dull and Justin Karney.

Grandfather of Jadey, Joley, Jerny, Jyndy and Thomas. Brother of Cheryl Cotrotsos, Frances Bryant (James), Margaret Monde (John), Elizabeth Juneau and the late Gerianne Mills. Son of the late Thomas Karney Jr. and Ouita Miller Karney.

Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Tommy was a “jack of all trades and master of none”. He was very talented with his hands, working in everything from construction to small engine repair.

He was an avid pool player and never missed a chance to cheer on the Saints. His talents in the kitchen had him known for his pralines and chili. Tommy enjoyed writing poetry and had a wonderful singing voice and would serenade his beloved Cynthia with his rendition of “Little Egypt”.

Donations to the family for expenses are preferred in lieu of flowers. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Services at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 12:30pm. Mothe Funeral Home is assisting the family during this time.
