William “Bill” Joseph Jackson, Sr. August 12, 1935 – May 23, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card William Joseph “Bill” Jackson, Sr., age 83, of Hendersonville, TN, formerly of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Hickory Hills Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Hendersonville, TN. Bill was born August 12, 1935 in Fort Knox, KY to the late Arch William and Frances Virginia Allen Jackson. Bill was a farmer, real estate broker, and auctioneer throughout his life.

He was a Deacon and Choir Member of Buck Grove Baptist Church and also a member of the Lions Club and Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Jackson; children: Jennene (Jed) Painter of Hendersonville, TN, Cheri (Tony) Sander of Madison, AL, Vanessa (Danny) Gentry of Sulphur, LA, and Jody (Beth) Jackson of Elizabethtown, KY; grandchildren: Jessica and Andy Oliveras, Justin Painter, Danielle and Derek Sander, Michael Jardell, and Evan Jackson; sister-in-law, Diane Medley; and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 27, 2019 at Buck Grove Baptist Church at 1:00 PM EDT in Ekron, KY with burial to follow in Buck Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM EDT from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY and Monday after 11:00 AM at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Alzheimer and Cancer Research.
