He was born on March 28, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY to William Kenneth, Sr. and Charlotte Gladys (Ruehle) Krumm, grew up in Hicksville, Long Island, NY, and moved to Fort Wayne, IN in 1988. Bill served his country honorably in the Seabees as part of MCB133 from 1970-1976 and was stationed in Gulfport, Mississippi and Subic Bay in the Philippines.

Bill believed in living a MAAAUVELOUS life. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places with his best friend, and wife of 45 years, as well as, spending time with family and friends, who inevitably came to feel like family. He would often drive hours just to spend minutes with those he loved.
Bill loved watching his favorite sport, wrestling, hunting and bird watching, fishing and spending time on the water. He liked to undertake construction projects of various sizes, from designing chicken walker replicas to building the Lake House, and using any and every heavy piece of equipment he could get his hands on. One of his greatest joys was giving his grandkids rides on the tractor or bobcat, and instilling in them the Bill Krumm work ethic… and last but not least, raising a steer…”Chuck the cow”.
