William C. Vanderhei, 75, of Fox Lake, formerly of Cicero, died Thursday, June 7, 2018, at JourneyCare, Arlington Heights. He was born January 16, 1943, in Oak Park, to the late Victor and Frances (nee Rose) Vanderhei. William was an entrepreneur, having founded and owned several businesses, and was an avid boater.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce (nee Glover); children, Jackie (James) Mills, Ginger (Bruce) Rocks, Donald McArthur, and Sandy (Paul) Sikora; grandchildren, Johnnie and Billy Satas, Cody, Lane, and Elena Mills, Sabrina, Donald Jr., Emma Grace, Dakoda, and Dustie McArthur, and Maddie and Katie Sikora; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Mills and Hayden Satas. The visitation will be Sunday, June 10, from 3-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. , Fox Lake.

The funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m., Monday, June 11, at the funeral home. Entombment will be held at 2:45 p.m., Monday, June 11, at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 1400 S. Wolf Rd. , Hillside.
