Obituary for William Clay Ross Jr “Bro. Clay”-Age 81 of Cross Plains, TN went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 17, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center. He was born June 29, 1937 in Black Oak, Arkansas to William Clay & Beulah Mae Bailey Ross.

He was a member of White House Church of Christ, where he served faithfully as an elder and as a minister. He was the former minister of Cross Plains Church of Christ. He also served as a missionary in Australia and spent two years ministering in Tanzania.

He is preceded in death by his parents; He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Laverne Ross, Cross Plains, TN; sons, Steven Clay (Laura) Ross, Tallmadge, Ohio, David Wayne (Paula) Ross, White House, TN and John Bailey (Mary) Ross, Robertsdale, Alabama; brother, Jim Ross, Oxnard, California; sister, Kat (Jason) Rhein, Colorado; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, September 21, 2018 at 7pm at White House Church of Christ with Ministers Terry McCormick and Matt Shouse officiating. Inurnment is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11am in White House Memorial Gardens.
