William’s Obituary William Dewitt Faulk, 78, of Rockingham entered into heaven on Monday, May 27, 2019. Dewitt was born June 1, 1940 in Richmond County, a son of the late Murray Cleveland and Eunice Elizabeth Faulk. He served his country in the US Army and the North Carolina National Guard for a total of 37 years.

He also retired from the US Fish & Wildlife service and was a member of Abundant Life Church. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Freeman Faulk of the home; children, Marty Faulk of Laurinburg, Kimberly Gathings of Ellerbe and William “Chip” D. Faulk, Jr of Rockingham; grandchildren, Tiffany Wilson, Kayla Wilson, Amber Faulk, Shawn Faulk and Allyson Faulk; great grandchildren, Landon Wilson, Gage Ricks and Matthew Brigman and his sister, Kathy Long of Rockingham. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Abundant Life Church with Rev.

Joe B. Wilkes, Jr. officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Eastside Cemetery. The family will see friends from 1:00 – 1:45 pm Thursday at the church and at other times at the home.
