William E. “Bill” “Gunny” Gunion, 67, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born December 6, 1950 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Clifford and Eva Testa Gunion. Bill was a member of Community of Christ Church in Follansbee, WV and a US Army veteran.

He was a good drummer, loved rock and roll, his family and his pets. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, whom he married May 22, 1976, Romaine B. Oliver Gunion; two sons William Gunion, Jr. of Bloomingdale, OH and Adam (Lacie) Gunion of Columbus, OH; brother Ronald (Shirley) Gunion of Wintersville, OH and niece Leslie Gunion of Canton, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. with Sam Oliver and Terry Mellendorf officiating.
