Margaret A. Martin, 82, of Fernandina, FL, formerly of Steubenville, died Saturday, April 28, 2018 peacefully with her loving husband at her side at her home. She was born April 1, 1936 in Hollidays Cove, WV. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and Winifred Murry Reed.

She is also preceded in death by one brother Thomas Reed and grandson Grant Dishon. Margaret was a long time member of the Quilters Guild. She also loved fishing, traveling, gardening and was an avid marathon runner.

Margaret was Christian by faith. Surviving are her husband Leslie “Gus” Martin, whom she married December 23, 1971; four daughters Kathleen McGettigan of Winfield, WV, Maureen Gable of Mooresville, NC and Laurie (Dan) Dishon of Bloomingdale and Beth (Bill) Krempasky of Warren, OH; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and special thanks to her caregiver Connie Pinkney. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd.

, Steubenville. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
