Catherine R. Mason, 82, of Wintersville died June 11, 2018, at Trinity West. She was born March 4, 1936, in Steubenville, the daughter of the late William and Mary Baird Lippert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Mason, Jr.; two brothers, John and David Lippert; and two sisters, Mary Lou Knox and Joann Lippert.

Catherine was the bookkeeper for her husbandás Waltás Gulf gas station. She was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School, Class of 1955. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Steubenville Womenás Bowling Association.

Catherine was also an avid bingo player and loved to attend all of her grandchildren athletic events. Her favorite things were her family and her grandchildren. Surviving are son, William (Darlene) Mason of Wintersville; daughter, Mary Jo (William) Davis of Delaware, OH; and grandchildren, Caitlin, Billy and Mason.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. , Steubenville. Additional viewing will take place at 10 a.m. Friday until an 11 a.m. service.

Pastor Kevin Rinkes will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 2105 Sunset Blvd. , Steubenville, OH, 43952 or Steubenville Catholic Central High School, 320 West View, Steubenville, OH, 43952.
