James A. Kliner, 76, of Steubenville died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Valley Hospice. He was born September 22, 1941 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late William and Ella Marie Harmon Kliner.

James is also preceded in death by his daughter, Ashli Kliner. James was retired from Local 495 Plummer and Pipefitters, and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Crewson Kliner, whom he married June 3, 1994; one daughter, Alice Kliner of Warren, OH; one step-son, Donald Confalone of FL; one step- daughter, Lisa Majewski of Steubenville; four brothers, William (Dee) of VA, Harry and Edward (Carole), both of Wheeling, and Robert (Carol) of MD; one sister, Marian Kliner of Steubenville; and one grandson, Anthony Council.

Calling hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peters Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt.
