Thomas E. Ryan, 8,1 of Steubenville, died Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Trinity West. He was born September 29, 1936 in Mingo Junction, OH. He is the son of the late Leo and Eva Taylor Ryan, Tom is also preceded in death by his wife.

M. Elaine Pfister Ryan, son, Timothy Ryan, and sister, Donna Mackey. Tom was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, a graduate of the former Mingo High School, senior member of Jefferson County Sportsman Association, Knights of Columbus #472, and the Wintersville McDonalds morning coffee group. Surviving are his son, Tom (Beth) Ryan, two daughters, Kathy (Lou) DiGregory and Maureen Ryan Davis.

Grandchildren: Sarah, Rachel and Elizabeth DiGregory, Danielle (Dan) Quick, Shane R. Davis, Ashley (Charlie) Thompson, and Tom L. Ryan. step-grandchildren, Emily (Thomas) Finlay and Jacob Poston. 7 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Tom will be deeply missed by his best buddy and granddog, Jack. Tom loved to traveling to Florida with his wife, fishing with his sons, friends, and coffee with his friends. The family would like to acknowledge and give a heart felt thank you to Dr. Peraiz Rahman, Enza Anderson, PA, and all the caring and support staff at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center, and the 3rd Floor I.C.U. and C.V.U. staff at Trinity Medical Center and Charity Hospice.

Calling hours are Sunday 3-7pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 9:30 am Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Msgr.

Gerald Calovini, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
