Obituary for William Clark Sept. 13, 1929 – April 17, 2018 William E. Clark, 88, Tyrone, passed away Tuesday in the Emergency Room at Tyrone Regional Health Network. He was born in Vail, son of the late William F. and Margaret F. (Sessamen) Clark.

On Nov. 7, 1954, he married Elaine Kidd in Buffalo, N.Y., and she preceded him in death on April 27, 2003. Surviving are a son, William F. Clark and wife, Mary A.; a grandson, Justin Clark and wife, Casey L.; he was anticipating the arrival of his first great-granddaughter; and his beloved dog, Meika.

William graduate from Tyrone High School, and Juniata College receiving a degree in history. He served as an ordinance officer for the U.S. Navy. He worked as a fingerprint analyst for the FBI; a special education teacher for the Williamsburg School District; a state rehabilitation counselor; the assistant director of Skills of Pa.

; and the personnel director for PennDot. William also ran for the Pa. House of Representatives.

He enjoyed reading, politics, genealogy, and he loved doing stained glass with his wife. William greatly loved his grandson, Justin. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018, Pastor Carl Schmidt officiating.
