OBITUARY William Edwin Fulk October 9, 1940 – July 16, 2018 William Edwin Fulk, 77, of Myerstown, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Judith Anne Poorman Fulk. He was born in Harrisonburg, VA, on October 9, 1940, a son of the late Frederick and Martha Brightbill Fulk.

Bill was owner of the former Buy-Rite Grocery Store and owned real estate properties in Myerstown. In his younger years, he played and coached in the Detroit Tigers professional baseball organization for 10 years. Bill was a 1962 graduate of West Chester State College, PA, where he was co-captain of their 1961 NCAA Soccer Championship team.

He was a member of the Myerstown Church of the Brethren and Central Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Keith Fulk and wife Mara; and Derek Fulk; grandchildren, Kiara Fulk and Alessandro Fulk; sister, Faye Chepulis and husband Jerry; nieces, Krista Chepulis, Stacey Maus and Amy Batcho; brother in law, Danny Poorman and wife Cathy. A celebration of his life will be held privately.
