William F. Drylie, 74, of Jeannette died Saturday September 8,2018 in UPMC Mercy Hospital. He was born November 25, 1943 in Greensburg, a son of the late Homer F. and Johanna J. (Demark) Drylie. He worked as the Chief of Police in the City of Jeannette and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

Bill was a Past Most Worshipful Master of the F&AM Lodge #750 of Jeannette, the American Legion Post #344 and the FOP #39. Bill is survived by his wife Donna (McIlvaine) of Jeannette, children: Christina Harris (Matt), Debra Stiffey (Randy), Jon, Dan (Sandy), Deidre Diffenderfer, Dana Campbell, Cathy Harbaugh (Joe); brother Ronald L. Drylie (Kathy), 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. According to Bills wishes all services were private.
